The idea is that a hive of bees is placed in the gazebo. Members of the public are invited to don a bee suit and come inside to experience for themselves the opening of the live bee hive.

Furness Beekeepers has both adult and children’s suits available at these events.

The Live Bee Show was taken to six local summer shows last year and proved to be a great attraction whilst promoting bee keeping.
