The location for the convention is ‘The Malt Kiln’ at Bardsea
Nr
Ulverston Cumbria
The Malt Kiln has been recently renovated to a high standard
which
includes disabled access to the building a large car park
Bardsea is an unspoilt Lakeland Village. Lunch can be arranged
for
delegates at The Ship Inn, a nearby hostelry. The lunch menu
includes a choice of set
meals
or soup
and
sandwiches. Please
send for a menu with your application form.Please indicate on
the
enclosed menu which meal you prefer if you wish to go
to the Hotel for lunch. This will aid the hotel in the catering
on the
day, but please only pay for your meal on the day on arrival at
the
Malt Kiln.
We have facilities for delegates to enjoy their own food at the
Malt
Kiln if they do not wish to have lunch at The Ship
Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served during registration
and at
the end of the convention free of charge

Ulverston, the Furness Peninsular and the surrounding villages is in an area of outstanding beauty and on the edge of the Lake District itself, so it may a pleasant option to consider staying a little longer than the day of the convention and make the long distance travel you may have had to travel more worthwhile.
Bardsea Malt Kiln (Grid ref: 296745 ) is readily accessible.
Entering Ulverston on the A590 from Newby Bridge.turn left at
the 2nd
roundabout to take the A5087 Coast Road to Barrow.
After about 3miles you will see the Manjushri Institute on the
left,
Take the next right turn (about 200 yards ) signposted Bardsea.
In about 1mile you will see the Bradylls Arms here turn right,
Sign
posted Well House and Bardsea Green. The Malt Kiln is about 75
yards
down the hill on the right.
There is ample free parking and a Steward on hand to guide you.
