A four week course to cover
all aspects of basic beekeeping
The course is open to both members and non-members of FBKA.
The course is timed to coincide with the bees becoming active in Spring and,depending on the weather, will run in tandem with the informal ‘hands on’ lessons at our apiaries in Ulverston and Skelmsmergh.
The course can be used as a foundation to the BBKA basic beekeeping course, so if you want just improve your knowledge of bees and beekeeping or if you would like to take the Basic Beekeeping Examination, we can help you! Whether you have been keeping bees for a short or long time, we can help you!! Go on, give it a go! It's fun!
The course will consist of four one and a half hour sessions commencing March 8th.
